One of those AU’s where older Korra and her journey and adventure to Republic City never really happened. Mako, Bolin, Asami, and everyone she was friends with were all created in her mind after an accidental encounter with a polarbear dog and her pups left her in a coma. Young Korra had always been hotheaded and impulsive, but most of all she was lonely. Being forced to live in a compound where she had no friends or companions besides strict tutors and only able to see her parents once a week took its toll on her mind.

So when she went into the coma her mind fabricated a world where she was free from the compound and where she had friends and love and family.

That is until she was forced to wake up.

Hey Jasjuliet, I’m your secret santa! :^) Sorry this took so long! 

Since you requested something spirit-world related, an au, or something with Korra and/or Aang, I tried to fit together as many of these things as I could, haha. I didn’t have time to bring this to its full potential, so just this picture will have to do for now. As far as the Spirit World goes, I tried to combine the bleaker look of the atla spirit world with the vibrant look of the lok concept art.

I tried my best! Hope you like it. I had to use a reference, though, because I can’t do anatomy and boxing and stuff. I also wanted to color it with real colors and shading, but I didn’t feel like cleaning up my sketch so yeah. Maybe I’ll redo this one day.
